At a campaign event in Beaumont, Texas, Sen. Ted Cruz ripped Kevin Steele of KMBT-TV for asking whether he had “a personal animosity against gay Americans.”
“Do you have a personal animosity against Christians, sir?” Cruz responded. The 2016 Republican presidential candidate then went on to say it was a bad week for homosexual rights around the world given ISIS’ gains in Iraq and Syria. ISIS, of course, punishes gays by throwing them off of buildings and cliffs, as is the punishment under Islamic Sharia law.
He suggested Mr. Steele stop taking cues and getting his questions “from MSNBC.”
“They have very few viewers,” Cruz said. “And they are a radical and extreme partisan outlet.”
FOX News host of “The O’Reilly Factor,” Bill O’Reilly, said during Weekdays with Bernie” (Goldberg) segment Thursday that every Republican should take note of how Cruz handled the media bias, because “they will get skewered” if they don’t.

And since it was brought up in the interview, Yes, Kevin is a Christian as well. He has values, but he is not allowed to show them as an ABC employee. I love Sen. Cruz. I love Kevin Steele as well. He is a good man and a good reporter. We attend the same church. He is friends with my family. Just wanted to set the record straight where a reporter’s job makes him ask certain questions and keeps his personal bias out of the media. I wish the liberal media would do the same.

As the editor of PPD, who verifies all of our writers’ stories, I find the aforementioned claims worth responding to, despite the fact they are ridiculous and false.
We spoke to four people who know Mr. Steele for this story. Here are your stats:
Two co-workers, one previous and once current, said flat-out he is a liberal.
One, who is a liberal, admittedly, said she suspects him of being “a closet Jesus worshipper” but nevertheless said he pretended to be liberal with the cool kids.
The last, honestly, said he didn’t think he could make a judgement because he saw Kevin as a man who has ZERO core beliefs, and would say whatever he needs to in order to get the lead story.
Regardless, lets assume the fourth person is correct. I know of no conservative Christian willing to sell out God to get the lead story in some tiny little, Podunk news outlet.
You’re making up a story, and making a fool of yourself.
