Sarah Palin: ‘I Was Not Allowed’ To Tell The Truth About Obama B/C Of Media

Sarah Palin appeared on Greta Van Susteren’s show and said, “I was not allowed to talk about these things because the GOP elites who were running John McCain’s campaign said the media would eat us alive.”

Palin, of course, was referring to various shady stories surrounding Barack Obama’s that the media prevented from gaining any traction during the 2008 election. Unfortunately, because the media is in fact a “lap-dog for Obama,” refused to do their job and now we are in a position where the government will run rampant – but then when caught – simply call the scandals a “phony” bunch of “distractions.”

But this is the kind of thing that gains Sarah Palin no favor with me. If she was a “maverick,” then why didn’t she speak up and to hell with the consequences. I admire Sarah in many ways, but there is something wrong with crying foul after the fact, and still taking up the mantle of the fierce anti-establishment “momma grizzly.”

As a matter of sound character, it just doesn’t work that way. I cannot help but to think that some aspect to Steve Schmidt’s story – who I think is a spineless coward – nevertheless has some degree of validity to it. By the way, I mean that only to the extent that she was playing ball at the time because she desperately wanted to win the vice-presidency.

Holding up what she referred to as the “red-neck version of the elitist” Karl Rove’s white board – which was absolutely hilarious – she pointed to a list of scandals that is the result of the strategy to not tell the American people about the dangers of Barack Obama’s corruption.
