HomeElectionsLive Results: New York House District 3 Special Election

Live results for the 2024 New York House District 3 Special Election between Republican Mazi Melesa Pilip and Democrat Tom Suozzi. The election will fill the vacancy left by Republican George Santos, who was expelled from Congress in December 2023.

Former Rep. Santos won the district by roughly 8 points in 2022 and President Joe Biden won the district by roughly 8.5 points in 2020. However, recent polls show Suozzi, a former Nassau County executive, ahead of Pilip, a member of the Nassau County Legislature. Meanwhile, former President Trump now leads President Biden in the district by roughly 5 points.
