Interim DNC Chair Donna Brazile Called Bernie “Stupid” in WikiLeak Email

Donna Brazile, longtime Clinton ally and new interim head of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Following the WikiLeak email dump.

Donna Brazile, a longtime ally of the Clintons and new interim chair of the Democratic National Committee, also showed a bias against Bernie Sanders. Brazile was chosen to take over for ousted DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz after the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks released nearly 20,000 hacked emails revealing the DNC was working against Sen. Sanders to hand Hillary Clinton the nomination.

However, in the WikiLeaks DNC emails, Brazile calls Sen. Sanders “stupid” for endorsing Wasserman Schultz’s primary opponent.

“I saw it this am. How stupid. Don’t know how to respond to Bernie anymore,” interim DNC Chair Brazile wrote in a May 22 email with the subject line “Subject: Re: Did you see this?”

In another email, when asked by Phillip Abby at The Washington Post about a “fight between the Sanders camp and DNC over adequate representation on the platform committee” ahead of the Democratic National Convention, she responded with her bias.

“I have no intentions of touching this,” she wrote in an email on May 13. “Why? Because I will cuss out the Sanders camp!”
