In light of all of the recent Obama scandals, which are causing nothing short of a crisis of credibility among the American people toward their government, we are kicking off “Truth Week” ahead of next month’s launch of the Institute for Civil Society.
Even the term civil society, itself, has been distorted into a progressive version that couches the social justice/retribution, which is embedded in the inherently despotic ideology. All week-long, we will be debunking the progressive ideology for the regressive despotism it truly is – starting with the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendments today and tomorrow.
At the Institute for Civil Society, we believe that essential services must be provided by communities, as they are the only venue by which society can re-instill responsibility and empowerment into citizens who have lost their way and are in need. Unlike civil society, deference to the government always comes at a price, whether that price must be paid in full or over time in the form of liberty payments.
As conservatives, we have the history, economics, psychology, and even the science on our side; but most importantly we have the truth and right reason in accordance with each other, or the “True Law.” What we do not have are the despotic media institutions, pop culture, and educational apparatuses professing it to the whole of the public both outright and subliminally on a daily basis.
But this week we aim to override that, and truth will always prevail with the True Law. Just as we have focused on the policy, we will now focus on the people.
Therefore, all week-long we will be publishing articles relevant to the current despotic events, scandals, and other aspects to our society that have gotten way to far out of hand. Unfortunately, as it reads in “Despotism for Dummies,” they have tried to rewrite history and now we have to re-teach it.
Shortly, the first article will be published as a predicate to tomorrow’s article, which will demonstrate that the Progressive Era legislation was nothing but a typical big government power grab. We ask you to please share these articles with your friends and family, even if they are not conservative; especially if they are not conservative, as we need to separate the rhetoric from the reality. Subscribe to this blog through the RSS feed at the top-right of the column, or just below is the option to receive emails, which of course, you can cancel when you feel so-inclined.
Ahead of the official launch of the Institute for Civil Society, we are putting our money where our mouths are, because we believe:
Limited government is not a means to liberty, it is an end. That is to say, there are always going to be a group of citizens who cannot meet their basic needs, and there most assuredly will always be politicians willing to promise that they will meet them. The difference between liberty and tyranny by popular support, or correctly termed “democratic despotism, ” is little more than the vehicle a free society chooses to use in order to meet those needs.
That vehicle must be civil society, not uncivil government.
