Whip List Supporting Don’t Fund It – Effort To Defund Obamacare

UPDATE: I will periodically post the latest emails from the effort to defund Obamacare – or, Don’t Fund It – as I receive them. Speaker Boehner has made good on his promise that the House would vote on a continuing resolution that will defund Obamacare (Note: Senate Republican leadership derailed members of their own party).

(VIEW 2014 SENATE MAP PREDICTIONS)

The latest email is below, then follows an up-to-date list of Senators who have or have not pledged to join the effort to defund Obamacare and oppose cloture. Some, have declined to respond to requests to take a stand, altogether. Finally, at the end you will find a list of Senate candidates with either a “Y” or a “N” next to their names. Some of the names of those who have refused to take the pledge to defund Obamacare, as well as those who pledged but now support cloture, may just surprise you.

Fellow Conservatives: This is an urgent action alert for every American who opposes Obamacare.
The U.S. Senate will vote to fund Obamacare this week and we need your help to stop it. Democratic Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has a procedural plan to fund Obamacare with only 50 votes, but first he needs at least 6 Republicans to vote for “cloture” to approve the process.According to numerous sources, some Republicans support Harry Reid’s scheme and plan to vote for cloture so the Democrats can fund Obamacare. These Republicans-In-Name-Only (RINOs) believe they can support Harry Reid’s rigged process without being held responsible for the outcome everyone knows it will produce — namely the funding of Obamacare. We must act now to let Senate Republicans know we won’t be fooled.A vote for cloture is a vote to fund Obamacare, and any Republican who lets the Democrats fund Obamacare should be defeated in their next election.

TAKE ACTION NOW

Please call these Republicans and urge them to OPPOSE “cloture” to stop Harry Reid’s plan to fund Obamacare. Don’t let them tell you a vote for cloture is a vote against Obamacare. It is not. If cloture were truly a vote against Obamacare, the Democrats wouldn’t be supporting it.Cloture will allow the Democrats to fund Obamacare and it MUST be defeated. If 41 Republicans oppose cloture, it WILL be defeated.Click Here to See Our Updated Whip List and Talking Points

It’s very important that you make your voice heard today by calling these senators. We can win this battle, but we must fight now.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t live in their states. They need to know that people across the country expect them to stop funding for Obamacare.

Thank you for standing strong for freedom.

Senate Conservatives Fund

P.S. First, John Boehner (R-OH) and the House Republicans tried to fool the grassroots with their “trick rule” to fund Obamacare. Now, Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and the Senate Republicans are trying their hand at the deception game by supporting “cloture” on Harry Reid’s plan to fund Obamacare. Don’t be fooled. Stop them. Melt the phones!

Senate Republican Whip List

Harry Reid plans to use a procedural trick to fund Obamacare with only 50 votes, but first he needs 6 Republican votes on “cloture” to approve the process.

Tell the Republicans to OPPOSE cloture to stop Harry Reid’s plan to fund Obamacare. Tell them a vote for cloture is a vote to fund Obamacare.

NOTE: Some Republicans may say the vote on cloture is a vote to “defund” Obamacare. It is not. Cloture is a vote on the debate process. The current process allows Democrats to fund Obamacare with only 50 votes, and it should be rejected.

  • Thank you so much for this info, I will make sure that I vote for NO ONE who is NOT voting to abolish this terrible law that has been shoved down our throats, And the Republican Party has really stepped in it. I will only vote for a Tea Party conservative and I hope that we can vote these spineless old cronies out!! They have stabbed this country and its citizens in the back. They have sealed their fate as far as I'm concerned, When they are voted out in a landslide they are gonna wonder what in the world happened.
