‘Racism is Evil’: Trump Denounces White Supremacy Groups By Name

President Donald Trump condemned white supremacists groups by name and in the strongest possible terms at the White House on Monday. The President’s remarks come as the media criticized him for not coming out strong enough against these groups, specifically, in the wake of Charlottesville, Virginia.

“Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans,” President Trump said. “And as I have said many times before: No matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God.”

The President said he was elected to restore law and order and his administration will carry out that objective. He assured Americans that “justice will be delivered” and that his administration “will spare no resource in fighting so that every American child can grow up free from violence and fear.”

“As a candidate, I promised to restore law and order to our country, and our federal law enforcement agencies are following through on that pledge,” he added. “We will spare no resource in fighting so that every American child can grow up free from violence and fear.”

On Saturday, the President and First Lady Melania Trump condemned all violence. It was no doubt a recognition of the leftwing groups that have until Saturday dominated political violence, including against his peaceful supporters, which the media ignores.

While the white supremacist groups gathered at Emancipation Park to protest the removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee, they did so with a lawful permit. They were met by equal numbers of counter-protesters, including Antifa, which was labeled by Homeland Security in New Jersey as a domestic terror group, and Black Lives Matter.

They did not have a permit.

“We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for,” President Trump tweeted. “There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!”
