Why am I not surprised? Normally, I would conclude that this is nothing more than an overblown book launch, but I am familiar with Ed Klein and even more importantly, I know some of the earlier claims to be true. Thus, it does not surprise me in the least to hear the revelation that Obama and Bill Clinton struck a deal, which included Bill Clinton saving Obama from election defeat and Obama making a promise that he did not intend to keep.
What is surprising, however, is that Bill Clinton was naive enough to think that Barack Obama would hold up his end of the bargain. The convention is over and he is reelected, so now, just as the American people will come to realize if they have not yet, Bill Clinton is finding out that Barack Obama makes quite a few promises that he never intends to keep.
According to Mr. Klein, in return for Clinton’s speech at the Democrat National Convention in 2012, President Obama made a secret deal to support Hillary Clinton when she runs for president in 2016.
The interview with Ed Klein speaks for itself. I would add, however, that Obama may not be in a position to endorse anyone in 2016 by the time these scandals play out. Quite frankly, I hope more than ever that Republicans take the Senate – strike that, and add conservatives – and it results in the truth exposing both the Obama’s and the Clinton’s as the disgusting opportunistic despots that they are.
For Barack Obama, his punishment will be the destruction of his legacy; going down as the biggest disappointment in political presidential history. Bill Clinton, whom of which three sources said voted for Mitt Romney, should have had the courage and conviction to do what is right for a change.
That has always been the sad story of William Jefferson Clinton. He, unlike many others, knows what is right, but never seems to act on it when it counts. I would refer the disbeliever to the former president’s remarks all but endorsing Mitt Romney during the 2012 campaign, which quickly led to David Axelrod hyperventilating.
I for one am sick and tired of this trash in that town; the town so many spilt their blood to build and protect.
