Rev. Jesse Jackson began to bash the Supreme Court’s decision on the Voting Rights Act saying that civil rights activists have “bled too much” to be “stabbed in the heart” this way. The so-called civil rights leader told CNN’s Jake Tapper:
The right to vote is too precious. We’ve bled too much, we’ve died too young, the price has been too great to now watch it be stabbed in the heart by the Supreme Court today.
Jackson urged President Obama to use his executive power to convene Congress and make a case to set the record straight on the court’s ruling and also called on the people to stand up. It is pretty clear what the left plans on doing now. The first plan is to lie, as usual, regarding what it is that the Supreme Court has done with its ruling. Of course, that is all part of the electoral plan to stuff the Congress with more liberals so they can write easy-to-cheat voting rights legislation:
Good news is Section 5 was not struck down wholesale. The key will be 2014 midterms. Need a new Congress for a new formula. #VRA

It is the actual strategy of the left to cause social unrest in order to excite minorities enough to vote. And if that doesn’t work, because it didn’t in 2010 and typically does not bode well for presidents’ parties in the 6 year itch, then there is always the ole’ trusty politics of racial division and threats. Isn’t that right Reverend? Jackson said:
The president has taken a very strong position today because he knows that without the protected right he would not have been president in the first place. He must use his power to convene the Congress and make a case to the nation as Lyndon Johnson made a case to the nation…why we must stop any scheme that suppresses or limits voting access or the right to vote and to win. We must go back to the streets in great numbers and demand a broad-based public consensus bottom up.
I think Barack Obama and his campaign would be a bit on the pissed off side to hear that Jesse Jackson says your efforts were successful only because of their ability to exploit minorities. But black Americans and other minorities need the GOP to have the courage to take their message to them or else it is only these race-baiting, modern slave masters who have the ears of their communities’ leaders.
Jackson, who went to Selma, Alabama to march with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for voting rights in 1965, although now the family of Dr. King cannot stand race-baiting man, also called the court’s decision a “dangerous setback,” adding that the only reason minority groups turned out to vote the way they did in the last eight years was because of the government oversight protecting them. It was the typical rhetoric from Jackson, pretending that black voters, women, and Hispanics will now need to again take a polling test.
The Supreme Court struck down Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act that had been in place for almost five decades and had recently been extended for 25 more years by Congress in 2006; however, the court agreed that the data does not support the liberal position anymore.
The court ruled that the requirement that some or all areas in 15 states with proven past racial discrimination had to receive approval from the Justice Department for any changes in voting laws, procedures or even polling place locations was unconstitutional.
