Brigitte Gabriel: How Islam Destroyed Christian Lebanon, the ‘Paris’ of the Middle East

Brigitte Gabriel, an outspoken Lebanese national, tells her own story of how radical Islam used the open-minded toleration of the only Christian dominated nation in the Middle East. Lebanon was once the banking capital of the Middle East, and National Geographic featured the nation as the “Paris of the Middle East.” However, as the only tolerant nation in the region, the acceptance of a third wave of Palestinian refugees allowed the minority of so-called “moderate” Muslims to form a coalition of majority radicals. After the failed attempt to institute a base in Jordan from which Islam could launch a campaign to eradicate Israel, Lebanon was the next option – and they succeeded.
