I have to admit that I am a bit of confused surrounding Liz Cheney and her motives for running for Senate. She told Rush Limbaugh that she was “deeply concerned about what’s happening in Washington, and what it means for Wyoming.”
However, Senator Enzi R-WY, has a truly conservative record. In fact, since Liz Cheney is a solid neoconservative, I am not sure if she is nearly as conservative as Mick Enzi. We shall see, but Enzi opposed TARP, excess funding for the War in Iraq, Obamacare, and so on.
Thus, when I hear her make general claims about compromising with Obama and the Democrats, I am confused about what she means. In the interview, I didn’t hear much in the way of specific grievances with Enzi. She discusses opposition to Obamacare, but again, Enzi opposed Obamacare.
I have to admit, after the interview, I am still confused.
