New Hampshire and national frontrunner Donald Trump topped a live Google (NASDAQ:GOOAV) Republican debate poll conducted during the event hosted by ABC News on Saturday. While pundits on certain “conservative” news outlets are again arguing Florida Gov. Jeb Bush had a game-changing night that hurt Trump–this time in regards to the exchange over eminent domain–it would appear the voters disagree.
Final results of Google News poll of who’s winning Republican debate:
1. Donald Trump 28.4%
2. Marco Rubio 20.3%
3. Ted Cruz 16.2%
4. Chris Christie 13.5%
5. Ben Carson 8.1%
While an unrelated data set, it is still interesting to note that Trump and Rubio are locked in a tight battle in the Candidate Search Ranking Horserace compiled by Google. Rubio’s inquiries, to be sure, are not all positive considering his terrible performance Saturday night. But, then again, neither are Trump’s and Rubio did come in second in Google’s live Republican debate poll.
Regardless, new data out on Sunday show Trump ticking up in the New Republican primary tracking polls. The Donald now holds a 15-point lead on the PPD average of aggregate polls. In fact, real estate mogul has now led in 74 consecutive polls in the Granite State since July and has a 68% chance of winning on Tuesday, according to the PPD Election Projection Model.
