Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party have made a big stink charging that Russian intelligence agencies or their proxies are behind the leak of DNC emails to WikiLeaks and the subsequent implosion of her candidacy. Some say President Vladimir Putin himself authorized these leaks, and we don’t have access to the intelligence to say for sure what’s going on.

But the real issue isn’t who but why: Why was anyone in a position to hack the email accounts in the first place?

The incompetence of the Democratic candidate and her staff in dealing with national security matters is simply stunning. We learn more and more about this incompetence on a daily basis as more revelations from WikiLeaks come out.

And what the press and the Democrats won’t tell you is that the reason relations with Moscow are in such a mess started with Mrs. Clinton some five years ago. When Mr. Putin was re-elected to the Russian presidency in 2012, in an election seen as fraudulent by the West, then-Secretary of State Clinton publicly questioned the vote and infuriated the Russian leader.

“At a conference in Lithuania, Clinton issued a biting statement saying that the Russian people ‘deserve to have their voices heard and their votes counted, and that means they deserve fair, free transparent elections and leaders who are accountable to them,’” wrote Politico.

Mr. Putin “was very upset [with Mrs. Clinton] and continued to be for the rest of the time that I was in government,” said Michael McFaul, the top Russia adviser in President Obama’s National Security Council from 2009 to 2011 and then U.S. ambassador to Moscow until early 2014. “One could speculate that this is his moment for payback,” reports Politico.

What has Mr. Putin truly concerned was Mrs. Clinton’s penchant for regime change. We all saw this reckless tendency play itself out in Libya. We still don’t know what really happened in Benghazi, but we know Hillary orchestrated the entire mess. Donald Trump is entirely correct when he states that Mrs. Clinton has killed tens of thousands of people through both her policies and actions.

Who can forget the eerie pleasure she displayed when she discussed on video her joy when Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi was killed, a dictator who had agreed to hand over his nuclear weapons just years before he was overthrown?

“We came, we saw, he died,” she happily remarked.

Yes, Mr. Putin was very worried that Mrs. Clinton would attempt to spark a Ukraine-style “color revolution” in Russia. She threatened his grip on power and now the Russian leader is — possibly — exacting his revenge. He feared that agitation stirred up by Western elements inside his country was being funded by Mrs. Clinton to topple him.

I’m not supporting Mr. Putin’s style of governing or saying that elections are free and fair in Russia. But I do question the judgment of a presidential candidate who would attempt to undermine the government of a nuclear power, a potentially deadly adversary. Perhaps Mrs. Clinton just thought herself superior to the Russians, that she could do whatever she wanted and there was nothing the Russians could do about it. By any standard, her behavior was reckless.

After Mrs. Clinton made her remarks, Mr. Putin began tightening his grip on power, oppressing the media and the political opposition. He expelled Western NGOs. Military spending increased. Russian foreign policy became more threatening. Elections became less transparent and less fair. So yes, you can blame the new Cold War squarely on Hillary Clinton. It’s just one more reason not to vote for her.

An internal investigation revealed Chelsea Clinton used “foundation resources for her wedding and life for a decade,” including campaigning. In an email released by the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks, Doug Band, a longtime aide to Bill Clinton, lamented over Chelsea’s stewardship to Clinton campaign chair John Podesta.

Not smart

Worth noting, as you can see from the email, the Bush family remains very close to the Clintons, which may help to explain their antipathy and lack of support for Republican nominee Donald Trump. As insiders have long-known, the Bush and Clinton families are close friends and faux political  rivals. The only difference between Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton winning the White House in 2016 would’ve been a matter of who’s donors were set to benefit.

Mr. Podesta, who other emails released show was a frequent ear for a frustrated Band over Chelsea, wrote back:

The Clinton Foundation is currently the subject of a criminal probe by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The FBI’s White Collar Crime Division is handling the investigation, which was characterized as a “very high priority” probe into allegations of corrupt pay-for-play between Mrs. Clinton and the foundation during her tenure as secretary of state.

Multiple FBI offices–including regional Bureau’s in D.C., New York, Arkansas and California–have been investigating the Clinton Foundation for at least a year. Agents familiar with the case say they have been receiving pushback from officials at the Department of Justice, who are withholding “invaluable” tools, such as wire taps, supoena power, warrants and ability to convene a grand jury.

(UPDATE: As of Sunday, Democrats have expanded their early vote advantage to 80-plus thousand. Nevertheless, my analysis below still stands. Those gains only mean Mrs. Clinton has modestly improved her standing juxtaposed to Mr. Obama to 50% levels, and absentee ballots will continue to trickle in, further cutting that advantage. Also, according to our most recent polling released Monday, Mr. Trump continues to carry the independent vote and leads by a wide margin among those who say they are voting on Election Day.)

Compared to 2012, early voting indicates Donald Trump heads into Election Day in far better shape than Mitt Romney, while Hillary Clinton lags Barack Obama.

We have cautioned our readers not to read too much into early and absentee ballot returns–the reasons why were laid out by Sean Trende at RCP–but since the media made such a splash about the “surge” in Hispanic voting in Florida on Saturday we feel the need to shine some light during what has become the Dark Ages of American journalism.

In 2012, after the final day of early voting, Republicans had cut Democrats’ aggregate lead from 8 points in 2008 to 4 points. In total, Republicans cast 79,000 more absentee ballots than Democrats, but trailed in the in-person early vote (EV) by 247,000. The combined advantage for Democrats was roughly 168,000 partisan ballots.

The final 2016 totals after the last day of early voting show Democrats cast roughly 102,000 more in-person early vote ballots than Republicans, or 1,461,358 to 1,359,284, which is about 140,000 fewer ballots than they did in 2012. Meanwhile, Republicans cast roughly 70,000 more absentee ballots than Democrats, or 1,043,583 to 974,135, which is slightly fewer but still roughly on par.

Democrats will head into Election Day 2016 with a combined advantage of just 32,000, down significantly from 168,000 in 2012. Clearly, after three cycles, with all the demographics in their favor, Democrats are still headed in the wrong direction and Republicans continue to cut into early vote advantages in Florida.

We’ll have our final survey out on Monday, but the latest People’s Pundit Daily (PPD) Sunshine State Battleground Poll finds Mr. Trump leading Mrs. Clinton in a four-way matchup by 3 points, 48% to 45%, with both Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein flat at 4% and 2%, respectively. That came after the Bloomberg Politics Poll conducted by Selzer & Co. that found Mr. Trump with a 2-point lead.

In both polls, Mr. Trump carried independents, a group that Mr. Obama carried by 3 points in an election he only managed to win by 0.4%, or less than 70,000 votes. We understand that other polls contradict our own poll and Ms. Selzer’s, but I would argue that the other polls are based on models that mirror the electorate Mr. Obama enjoyed, which clearly is not the case in 2016.

To put it nicely, the PPD Poll and Bloomberg Poll make no assumptions about the electorate and mold the data to those assumptions, like other pollsters. We ask the electorate what it will look like, we don’t tell it what it will look like. Mr. Obama won the black vote almost monolithically and Mr. Trump continues to flirt with touching the low double-digits, coming much closer to the levels reached by President George W. Bush in 2004.

White voters made up roughly 66% of the electorate in the PPD Poll and were breaking big for Mr. Trump 58% to 37%. Black voters only went for Mrs. Clinton by 81% and participation among this group was and still is down from 2012.

Leslie Wimes, the president of the Democratic African-American women’s caucus, recently told MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson that the Clinton campaign was right to be in “panic mode” about low voter enthusiasm in the black community.

“We love President Obama,” she said. “That doesn’t transfer to Hillary Clinton by osmosis. It’s over now as far as the African-American community is concerned. She had time back then to get into the community and get people out to vote. Now, you know, the numbers are the numbers. There’s nothing she can do now.”

Further, much of the Hispanic “surge” over the weekend–which may end up simply bringing them close to their 2012 levels, as they trailed those levels until Saturday–came from Miami, home to the state’s more conservative Cuban population. Mr. Romney and Mr. Obama split the Cuban vote in 2012, while they are breaking for Mr. Trump enough that he has a slight edge overall in the vote-rich region among Hispanics, even as Mrs. Clinton carried the vote statewide.

Mrs. Clinton leads among Hispanic voters statewide by 53% to 42%, a smaller margin than the poll found in the previous week. Latinos made up 16% of the electorate in the previous PPD Sunshine State Battleground Poll, but now increased their share of the electorate to 18%. Still, after we released our poll we spoke to several leaders in the Cuban community who tell us they think it is closer to 60/40 in favor of Trump (we had it 49% to 44%).

But here is what is going to be the deciding factor.

In 2012, independents made up roughly 18% of the electorate and cast 805,869 early and absentee ballots. In the end, the swing independent vote broke for Mr. Obama by roughly 3 points and he carried the state by only about 70,000 votes.

Now, after Saturday, 1,165,084 independents had cast early and absentee ballots, giving them a slight increase to 19% of the electorate. Both the PPD Poll and Bloomberg Poll found this group breaking slightly for Mr. Trump and, if it holds in tomorrow’s poll, it bodes well for the Republican businessman.

As far as crossover support, Mrs. Clinton took roughly 8% of the Republican vote in our previous poll while Mr. Trump took 10% of the Democratic vote. PPD has found each candidate losing much larger shares of their base in other battleground states, including Pennsylvania for Mr. Trump and North Carolina for Mrs. Clinton.

Bottom line: Donald Trump is in a far better position to carry the state of Florida than Mitt Romney was in 2012 before Election Day. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton does not have the large advantage that Mr. Obama enjoyed and lags behind his performance among demographic groups that are key to a Democratic candidate’s chances of carrying the ever important swing state of Florida.

Could Mrs. Clinton still carry the state? Sure. But independents would have to break her way, the crossover vote would have to move her way en masse (only one outlier found that), and Democrats would have to excite the black vote closer to Obama levels. Until we see evidence of that, Florida continues to LEAN TRUMP on the PPD Election Projection Model.

(Editor’s Note: It’s also worth mentioning that PPD’s Election Projection Model is based out of Florida and, not only are we the only “forecasters” to have correctly predicted Governor Rick Scott would win reelection [see predictions in Wiki], but we did so by almost pegging his vote margin exactly. We missed it by only 5,000 votes.)

Compared to 2012, early voting indicates Donald

James Kallstrom, the former assistant director the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), said the Justice Department (DOJ) under Loretta Lynch has been politicized. He said Lynch and her “minions are really working for the Democratic National Committee, not in the pursuit of justice.

“The head of the Justice Department and her minions are really part of the Democratic National Committee,” he said of Lynch and her subordinates. They are acting that way.”

Lynch, who was appointed to her role as U.S. Attorney in New York by former President Bill Clinton, first came under fire in July when it was revealed she met him in secret on her government airplane at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. At the time, Mrs. Clinton was (and still is) the subject of two federal criminal investigations. Under mounting public pressure and fallout, Lynch vowed to accept the recommendation from the FBI and career prosecutors at DOJ.

But as we now know from multiple FBI agents, Lynch knew the investigation was a sham. Justice Department officials blocked agents investigating the case from obtaining subpoena power and convening a grand jury. In fact, they continue to do so even as at least 4 regional Bureau teams investigate public corruption at the Clinton Foundation.

“It usually hasn’t been a problem in the United States,” he said about political interference in the Justice Department. “On a few occasions it has been if you look back, but it is totally politicized today.”

But Lynch isn’t the only one who has come under scrutiny or made headlines in recent days.

An email released by the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks revealed Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik tipped off Clinton campaign chair John Podesta. With an email reading “Subject: Fwd: Heads up” on May 19, 2015, Mr. Kadzik made headlines regarding the Clinton email investigation for the second time in a week.

“There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify. Likely to get questions on State Department emails,” Kadzik wrote. “Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails.”

Why does that matter?

Last week, after FBI Director James Comey informed Congress the FBI was reopening its inquiry after discovering new “pertinent” evidence linked to Clinton aide Huma Abedin, congressional leaders wrote to the Department of Justice seeking more information.

Kadzik replied.

“We assure you that the Department will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible,” he wrote on October 31.

Mr.Kadzik also represented Podesta in 1998 when independent counsel Kenneth Starr was investigating Podesta for his possible role in helping ex-Bill Clinton intern and mistress Monica Lewinsky land a job at the United Nations.

“Fantastic lawyer. Kept me out of jail,” Podesta wrote on September 8, 2008 to Obama aide Cassandra Butts, according to emails hacked from Podesta’s Gmail account and posted by WikiLeaks.

He also lobbied for a tax cheat later pardoned by then-President Bill Clinton and led the effort to confirm Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who tried to stop the FBI from investigating the Clinton Foundation for public corruption. The DoJ is not only responsible for approving the Bureau’s warrant applications but also for convening a grand jury.

Mr. Podesta and Mr. Kadzik kept up their relationship after he was appointed to the DoJ. In a May 5, 2015 email, Kadzik’s son, PJ, wrote to Podesta seeking a job on Hillary Clinton’s newly launched presidential campaign.

“I have always aspired to work on a presidential campaign, and have been waiting for some time now for Hilary [sic] to announce so that I can finally make this aspiration a reality,” PJ Kadzik wrote.

The former assistant director of the FBI cited the revelations in the leaked emails and called on Lynch, as well as others, to step aside from the investigation.

“Just look at the stuff on WikiLeaks and see her connections, and look at her going on that airplane [with Bill Clinton],” Kallstrom added. “She should really recuse herself from the investigation, and so should some of the people in the FBI.”

The State Department confirmed the Clinton Foundation accepted a $1 million from Qatar while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state without informing the agency. The gift, which was revealed in an email from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s account released by WikiLeaks, goes against Mrs. Clinton’s agreement with President Barack Obama and her promise to let the agency review new or significantly increased support from foreign governments.

Qatari officials pledge to give the money to the Clinton Foundation in 2011 to mark Bill Clinton’s 65th birthday, the former president, under the premise they would gain an opportunity to meet the former president and husband to the future president. They agreed to give him the money in person the following year, according to the email. State Department officials say they have no record of the gift or any request to approve it, as the agreement stipulated.

As demanded by President Obama in exchange for her appointment to the State Department, Mrs. Clinton signed an ethics agreement relating to her family’s foundation in 2009. The agreement was designed not only to avoid the appearances of a conflict, but actual influence on U.S. foreign policy by big wealthy global donors.

Any government request to “increase materially” in support of the Clinton Foundation was required to be reviewed by a State Department ethics official. But that did not happen. While Clinton Foundation officials last month declined to confirm the Qatar donation, spokesperson Brian Cookstra finally admitted this week that it accepted the $1 million contribution from Qatar. However, they maintain they do not consider it a “material increase” in support for the charity.

Even though Mr. Cookstra declined to say whether Qatari officials received their requested meeting with Bill Clinton, the email made the requirement for the money clear.

QATAR

– Would like to see WJC “for five minutes” in NYC, to present $1 million check that Qatar promised for WJC’s birthday in 2011.

– Qatar would welcome our suggestions for investments in Haiti – particularly on education and health. They have allocated most of their $20 million but are happy to consider projects we suggest. I’m collecting input from CF Haiti team.

A State Department official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the agreement made clear to the former secretary and her aides that it would be up to the Clinton Foundation to disclosure these gifts. They also said they were required to notify the State Department about donations that needed to be reviewed by ethics officers.

Other emails released by WikiLeaks indicate Mr. Clinton raised more than $21 million in connection with Bill Clinton’s 65th birthday in 2011, alone.

As People’s Pundit Daily previously reported in October, a review of tax returns and regulatory filings found the Clinton family charities to be in clear violation of New York law governing foreign contributions. Even though federal law does not require a charity to make government donors public, instructions from FORM CHAR500 provided by Democratic New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office states charities operating or raising funds in New York must list them.

The contribution from Qatar were not listed.

Yet, Mr. Schneiderman, who has endorsed Mrs. Clinton for president and donated to the campaign, said his office believes the Clinton family charities are “in step” with state laws.

Broward County Florida Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes, left, and Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during a campaign rally at Rev Samuel Deleove Memorial Park on November 1, 2016 in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.

According to multiple sources and witnesses, Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes and employees are engaging in mass voter fraud in multiple forms. While People’s Pundit Daily has uncovered instances of election fraud in other counties around the state–including Pasco and Lee–Broward is large enough that it could potentially swing the state.

It has been widely reported that black turnout in the state–and in other battleground states such as North Carolina and Ohio–is way down from 2012 levels. In the past few days, the Clinton campaign and their Democratic surrogates have been touting “a surge” in turnout among black voters in Broward County, which is overseen by Snipes.

But according to our multiple sources, there has been no real improvement in enthusiasm on the ground, but rather bold voter fraud schemes carried out by employees at the Supervisor of Elections. The election fraud scheme is mutli-pronged and includes destroying ballots selectively and what is traditionally known as ballot-stuffing, or filling in absentee ballots.

“There is no authentic surge,” a source at the Broward County Supervisor of Elections told People’s Pundit Daily. “They’ve been at this [filling out absentee ballots] for days, working 4 to 5 employees some 16 hours a day each. There’s no telling how many ballots we are talking about. As many as they can each write in 16 hours a piece.”

A review of the early and absentee voting statistics in the state–which People’s Pundit Daily does on a daily basis–does reveal a suspicous increase in Democratic returns juxtaposed to the rest of the state, which has not experienced the same turnout increase. If enthusiasm and turnout for Mrs. Clinton was organic and legitimate, then we would expect to see those gains in similiar percentages in regions of the state expected to back the Democrat.

But that’s not the case.

Sources confirm Snipes was breaking the law and opened more than 153,000 ballots cast by mail in private, claiming employees were tearing up and disposing of those that were votes in support of Donald J. Trump. The law prohibits the opening of ballots without the supervision of a canvassing board appointed to oversee and certify elections precisely because of this possibility.

The Republican Party of Florida earlier in the week caught wind of this and accused Broward County election officials of voter fraud when they received a letter Wednesday afternoon from Republican state party chairman Blaise Ingoglia.

“These illegal actions must stop immediately,” he wrote. “The Republican Party of Florida is prepared to take all necessary legal actions to ensure that Broward County conducts its election in compliance with the law.”

Within hours of receiving Ingoglia’s letter, a judge on Broward’s canvassing board offered a two-step compromise that ended the charge by Republicans. But Snipes admitted no wrongdoing and, until now, was able to maintain the story that the employees didn’t open the ballots.

“The canvassing board has never opened the ballots,” Snipes said. “We have procedures we follow that are approved in our security manual sent to state. We don’t feel like we are doing anything illegal — this is the process we have always used.”

But it was only because David Shestokas, a Florida Bar-certified attorney, was sent by the Republican National Lawyers Association from Chicago to watch the election in Broward that these activities were made known.

Yet another allegation involves Voter Services and Registration Director Mary Hall, one of four employees a volunteer identified in a signed affidavit. The volunteer confirms the allegations made by a source claiming Hall and others were locked in a room filling in scores of absentee ballots for Mrs. Clinton and other Democratic candidates.

The volunteer, who was terminated ubruptly after witnessing the mass voter fraud operation in what employees called “The Pitney Bowes Room,” stated in their affidavit that they clearly saw these four individuals filling in “stacks” of ballots with the same pen given by the Supervisor of Elections to voters.

“Once in the room, I could see the four SEO employees sitting at the same table actively filling out election ballots,” the affidavit reads. “Each had a stack of blank ballots to the right of them (about an inch high) and a stack of completed ballots to their left… I could see that the bubbles on the right stack had not been filled in, while the bubbles on the left stack had been blackened in.”

“I could see that the SEO employees were using the same black pens (white body with a black cap) that the SOE supplies to voters at the polling sites. I was then told to leave the room by one of the employees.”

When the volunteer returned the next day, they were met by uniformed security guards and told they had been terminated.

The Trump campaign is allegely preparing a lawsuit against Snipes.

No, this is not a joke. In one of the most disturbing emails released by the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks, Clinton campaign chair John Podesta was invited by his brother to attend a cultist “Spirit Cooking Dinner,” which calls for sperm, blood, urine and breast milk. The spirit cooking dinner, an occult ritual founded by Satanist Aleister Crowley, was being put on by artist Marina Abramovic, who is known for her often-gory “art” that features pain and ritual.

In an email dated June 28, 2015, Abramovic wrote to Podesta’s brother Tony, who then forwarded it over to his brother, Clinton’s campaign chairman.

“I am so looking forward to the Spirit Cooking dinner at my place. Do you think you will be able to let me know if your brother is joining? All my love, Marina.”

Tony Podesta then forwarded the email to his brother John Podesta (Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman), asking him, “Are you in NYC Thursday July 9 Marina wants you to come to dinner.”

Spirit cooking refers to “a sacrament in the religion of Thelema which was founded by Aleister Crowley,” according to Everipedia, and involves an occult performance during which menstrual blood, breast milk, urine and sperm are used to create a “painting”.

Abramovic is known for her first performance when she repeatedly stabbed herself in her hands. In her next performance, she threw her finger nails, toenails and hair into a flaming five-point star before eventually jumping inside of, which caused her to lose consciousness.

Republican Donald Trump leads a deeply unpopular Democrat Hillary Clinton in the key battleground state of Iowa, a new Emerson College Poll finds. Mr. Trump tops Mrs. Clinton, the former secretary of state mired in FBI controversy, 44% to 41%.

The results showed little change since the Emerson College Poll in early September, where he was ahead by 5 points, 44% to 39%. Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson earned 5%, Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein took 4% and 5% are still undecided.

However, the internals of the poll show little upside for Mrs. Clinton in the state, which along with Ohio, the campaign privately all but concedes they have lost. Voters’ opinions of Mr. Trump are more positive, as PPD Battleground Polls are beginning to show in Florida, Virginia, North Carolina and Nevada. He has a net -4 favorability rating compared to Mrs. Clinton’s net -28.

The U.S. Senate race between incumbent Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley and former Democratic Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge is basically over. Sen. Grassley leads his rival by 28 points, 60% to 32%, a marked improvement from the 51% to 40% advantage he held in an Emerson College Poll from September 2.

Sen. Grassley, who is Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, was seen as potentially vulnerable due to the GOP-controlled Senate’s refusal to act on the Supreme Court nomination of Merrick Garland. However, despite millions of dollars in negative advertisements and forecasters calling his situation in doubt, his popularity with Iowa voters remains very high.

His favorable/ unfavorable ratio is 55% to 37%, a net of +18, while Judge’s numbers are 28% to 55% or net -27.

Emerson College Final Iowa Poll

Methodology

The Emerson College poll for Iowa was conducted November 1-3 under the Supervision of Professor Spencer Kimball. The sample consisted of only likely general election voters, n=700, with a margin of error (MOE) of +/- 3.6 percentage points. The Iowa data was weighted by 2012 election results, party affiliation, age, and district. It is important to remember that subsets based on gender, age and party breakdowns carry with them higher margins of error, as the sample size is reduced. Data was collected using an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system of landlines only. The full methodology and results can be found at www.theecps.com.

Two American trainers were killed and a third was wounded during an exchange of gunfire outside al-Jafr air base in southern Jordan, the country’s military says. The U.S. Embassy in Amman confirmed it received reports about a security incident involving U.S. personnel.

Officials say that they were in touch with Jordanian authorities, but it was not immediately clear what started the gunfight. But the Islamic State (ISIS) controls large swathes of territory in neighboring Iraq and Syria. The U.S. has given millions of dollars in foreign aid to their ally to help the kingdom fortify its borders and any sign of instability should cause alarm.

The White House has refused to comment, thus far.

Meanwhile, in what has been a new first for any sitting president, Mr. Obama attempted to directly tie Mr. Trump to the Ku Klux Klan in an effort to scare black voters to the polls.

As People’s Pundit Daily reported two months ago, the White House cleared the president’s schedule during the month of October to campaign for Mrs. Clinton. The White House has now ramped up these efforts as Mrs. Clinton falls in the polls and lags behind the president’s support among black voters. Amid revelations she is under heavy FBI criminal scrutiny, Mr. Obama is now set to campaign for Mrs. Clinton in battleground states right up until Election Day.
