According to the attorney for George Zimmerman, James Beasley, the defamation case against NBC News was stayed pending the outcome of the outrageous prosecution in the criminal case.

Much has been made in the George Zimmerman Trial that Trayvon Martin was just a poor little kid that was on his way home with Skittles and an Ice Tea. Trayvon Martin was a 17 year-old who was over 6 foot tall, had a history of violence, and was suspended during the period of the confrontation for drugs. But the jury was not allowed to hear that information, and worse, nor of the gun that Trayvon Martin is seen with in photos taken from his cell phone only days before the incident.
If George Zimmerman is found guilty, the Age of Enlightenment was pointless. That’s right, we are that far gone. We are to the point that mass emotion without reason can be mobilized by false leaders who serve higher masters with unjust motivations.
At first I was cautious. Then, I evolved into skeptical. But now that the prosecution has rested their case in the George Zimmerman trial, I am flat-out disgusted at what clearly has been exposed as the worst racial prosecution since Jim Crow. If we recap Friday’s testimony, the prior testimony from witnesses called by the State Attorney’s office, then we will come to only one two-fold conclusion:
