Ted Cruz attempted to deliver a joke mocking the absence of Donald Trump, which fell flat when the audience first took it as whining to the moderators.
“The last four questions have been: Rand, please attack Ted. Marco, please attack Ted. Chris, please attack Ted. Jeb, please attack Ted. Let me just say this… If you guys ask one more mean question, I may have to leave the debate.

i think the audience got it before the moderators did, it didn't take them long to figure it out. Took them far less time than Rubio (in my opinion, he's a smarmy opportunist i cant stand him). Either way i thought it was funny but then i get his sense of humor.
Is anyone else getting tired of these "important debates"? Enough - enough of media asking slanted questions meant to trap or debase the candidates. Enough of the candidates spewing vile rhetoric upon each other. We'll end up with a President that is hated by the followers of all the other candidates. Republicans, democrats, socialists, insiders, outsiders - enough.
Let us demand a change. I would like to have each candidate put in print the position on every issue that would be his/hers if president. That alone, however, would NOT do. There must be some way to hold the President then accountable. Enough of buckets of leaking promises. Enough of the accusations one makes upon another. How far we have fallen in respect in the name of democracy. How far we have fallen in values in the name of freedom.
